Meeting The People of Poplar & Limehouse

It was great to be out last night, on the day we launched The Green Party climate election campaign, meeting and talking to the people of Poplar and Limehouse at All Saints DLR station. So many people shook my hand and welcomed news of the Green Party campaigning for change in their constituency, though it was sad to meet those who are not able to vote because they are not British citizens, despite living and working here for many years. Much more of this to come – tomorrow I will be out and about in Shadwell. Thanks to the volunteers for giving their time.
